Austin Art - Studio is dedicated to the exhibition and promotion of artists exploring diverse media, with an emphasis on the glass medium in contemporary sculpture.

As co-founder of one of the West Coast's most respected galleries, since 1991 principal David Austin curated major exhibitions by such pre-eminent artists as William Morris, Dale Chihuly, Karen LaMonte, Lino Tagliapietra, Clifford Rainey, Toots Zynsky, Therman Statom, Oben Abright, and Clifford Rainey, among others. These works were shown simultaneously alongside exhibitions by iconic contemporary painters and sculptors.

One of the most visible advocates for contemporary artists working in the medium studio glass, over the past two decades Austin has worked directly in placing important works with many museums and institutions including Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, Museum of Fine Arts Boston, Renwick Gallery at the Smithsonian, Chazen Museum of Art, Oklahoma City Museum of Art, Palm Springs Art Museum, and the Seven Bridges Foundation, among others.

Austin Art - Studio offers a comprehensive chronology of expertise including consultation, acquisition, and installation while building significant collections.
