Lino Tagliapietra

Born in Italy 1934, on the island of the centuries-old center for Venetian glassmaking, Murano.

Tagliapietra serves on the board of directors of UrbanGlass, a resource center for glass artists in Brooklyn, NY.


1946 (Age 11) Apprenticeship with Archimede Seguso, Murano, Italy

1955 Became maestro at age 21
